Three's Company

Can you imagine this home on Christmas morning?  What fun!!!  This trio were a hoot to take their pictures.  I met recently with the Steel family for the Christmas card session.  I love the colors their mom, Aprile selected for them.  Very fallish!

Can you imagine these brothers when she starts dating?!

I love this picture here.  In years to come these boys will treasure this.

Baby sister had a little photo session just for her!

Here's mama with her bundles of joy!  I love this picture of Aprile and the children. This is why I take pictures, to capture moments of life as it happens!  This is what inspires me!

You can see the love with this family.  Blake is very proud of his crew!

I had everyone to talk and interact as I took some candids.  I love how Mason keep his eye on me!  I guess he's use to having me in his classroom taking pictures at school!

And, then our serious family pose!

This picture is another one of my favorites.

I've got more pictures coming.... stay tuned. The count down till Christmas is on!

The Greatest of These is Love...

I love being with those who are in love!  Robbie and Jaimee will be getting married in February so, we recently took time to take their engagement pictures.  Speaking of love, I feel in love with her parents' home and property!  Very Southern Livingish!  I also feel in love with these two.  They were made for each other.

I took some awesome shots of Jaimee while we waited on Robbie to get changed from hunting.

Unfortunately Robbie didn't have any luck on his morning hunt.  Better luck next time!

These two are so in love.  Everytime I "turned them loose" they were busy chatting!

I really like this picture.  They almost look like they are dancing in the cotton field!

Now time for some bling!

I had to get their picture on this porch, it's so inviting.  I like how they pretended I wasn't there!

See what I mean?  They are so into each other.

Robbie and Jaimee I'm really looking forward to your wedding in February!
Enjoy!

4 Generations!

To me family is so important and when I got the call from my friend Pam about taking pictures of her granddaughter, daughter, her mom, and herself I felt very honored.  I only met one set of grandparents so I know what a treasure it is to have four generations together.  We met at a historic church in our community on a beautiful fall (and hot) day.  I love church steeples and just had to get a picture of this one.

What a beautiful image is this and such a blessing!

You can see the family resemblance.  I love this in black and white.

She was such a sweet baby!

I love baby's feet!  Can you picture these tiny feet wearing flips flops or high heels one day?

She has the prettiest little mouth!

This is my favorite.  Pam had seen this and wanted to recreate it for her women!  I just love this!

Pam thank you for letting me be apart of your special memories!  What an honor!
I have more pictures coming....several Christmas card sessions and an engagement session!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas Pictures!!!!

Yes Christmas is in the air and everywhere now days!  I recently was at the Country Club under the huge oak trees dripping in moss to take pictures of my friend Denise and her beautiful family!  Here are some of my favorites.  Of course I withheld the one they are using for their Christmas card.  So, you'll have to wait to see that one!

This boy is a pistol!  He's so funny to me.  I love hearing Walker stories from his mama.

I graduated from high school with Denise's brother Warren and her son here reminds me so much of Warren. (And Denise!)

I love this picture this sister and brother.  Denise made a great choice with the colors it worked perfect with the setting!

She is so pretty to me, look at those eyes!!

His eyes are pretty too, or should I say handsome!

Here's the family group pic!

Denise has always been so pretty to me.  I love this picture of her and her husband!

I love catching children being children!  He had no clue I was taking his picture.

Thanks Denise!  I have lots more to post.  Stay tuned!!!

Aaahhh Cancun!!!

I recently had the opportunity of a lifetime when I was asked to go to Cancun for a photo shoot!  I LOVE my part-time job as a photographer!!  This was such a wonderful experience for me.  I got to spend time in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been with two very talented photographers.  I learned so much and I'm so grateful I had this opportunity.  Thank you Jill and Ruth for an awesome time!  My bags can be ready whenever you call!  Check out these two awesome photographers' work Jill Higgins and Ruth Rackley!

We stayed at the J.W. Marriott in Cancun.  It was a beautiful resort, very relaxing and peaceful!

Here's the view from our balcony!  Breathtaking!!!  The water was an amazing blue!

We took a cab into Cancun one night.  Both Jill and Ruth had been to Cancun so they wanted me to see more of Mexico than just the resort.  We went shopping at the local market!

The beach and water was so beautiful but, dangerous!  The red flag means "swim at your own risk!"  Only one day was it "safe" while we were there, and for us it was still a little rough.

Love Mexican tile work.  These steps are just screaming for someone to have their picture taken here!

The beach was surprisingly narrow.  The lounge chairs were so inviting!  I could become so lazy here!

Here's another view from our balcony looking back at the bay and the city.

Who wouldn't love this picture?  All I could think when I saw this pool is how much fun my 5 year old would have swimming!!  And, yes it was really that blue, no editing here!

Cancun's nightime view was just as breathtaking as the day  view!

Paradise!

And, to prove I was really there here I am with no makeup and in all my glory standing on our balcony!

Thanks again Jill!!!

Still more family pictures to come! Next is the Pruitt Family session!!!
-Enjoy!

A Fun Sunday Afternoon!

I had a blast several Sundays ago with Steven and Chrissy and their four children.  The weather was perfect and the colors were perfect which made for a beautiful backdrop for Christmas cards pictures! I've known Chrissy and Steven for a long time. All the way back in high school and, yes I'll admit I was several grades ahead of them.  I truly enjoyed my time with them.  They were up for trying crazy shots and some we've keep for surprises later. I hope you enjoy these as much as we did taking them!

Such a happy and BLESSED family!

I love that they included their dog in their picture!

I got tickled here when I asked Gavin to pretend he was showing his younger brother, Luke, a fish in the pond.  Luke was so confused, he really thought Gavin was trying to show him something.  I love the look on Luke's face.

I've taken these two girls pictures a lot with my job with the schools.  These two girls are not only pretty but, they are very smart and awesome at sports!

I love this picture of these high school sweethearts.  The color of the sky and yellow goldenrods made a beautiful backdrop!

This is not the picture they are using for their Christmas cards.  This is just a sample of one of the cards I'm offering this year.  You'll have to wait till Christmas to see which picture they've chosen.  We are keeping it a secret!

Stay tuned, we have Cancun pictures, two more family Christmas Card sessions and more still to post! I've got to get BUSY!!
-Enjoy,
