A Ladybug Birthday!

Happy 1st Birthday to our favorite Ladybug, Gracie!  Family and friends gathered to celebrate this sweetheart's special day!

Before all the fun started Gracie and I escaped to the backyard for her private photo session!

Gracie loves her Oma!

I love watching children interact with one another.  This picture is priceless to me!

Gracie is a quiet ladybug but, she does have a sense of humor shown here with her grandparents!

Gracie with her Grandmama, Mama, and Great-Aunt!

More grandparents to love!!!

Always smiling....

What a beautiful family!

Watching little ones with their 1st birthday cake is a hoot to me.  Her awesome ladybug cake was made by her talented Mama!

As a lady should do, she took her time.

The more she tasted the more she wanted!

Happy 1st Birthday Ladybug!

I still have several more family photo sessions to post. Stay tuned....

The Magic of Christmas!

Family, Friends and Children make Christmas so special.  Here are some snapshots of Andrew with his friends decorating cookies for Santa! Notice the serious concentration....

Ansley was perfecting her Christmas tree!

The boys felt tasting the icing and sprinkles would help...

Lauren was taking her time!

I love the look on Ryan's face here.

The end result.... not bad!!!

We gathered our crew for a group picture.  Don't they look like angels?

There this is more like normal!

Sugar and Spice and All Things Nice....

That's what little girls are made of!  Meet my new friends Emilee and Adlee!  I was thrilled when asked to take pictures of little Adlee who was days shy of being 10 days old.  Both girls stole my hearts and will your's too.  Emilee was adorable and knew just when to smile for the camera.  Hope you enjoy these pictures and seeing the wonder of Christmas in little Emilee's eyes!

Meet Adlee and her beautiful mama, Ashlee!

It's A Small World After All!

I recently received an email from Sara to take Christmas pictures of her and her family. She shared that she learned of me through a mutual friend. After weeks of emailing one another we learned that I used to work with her husband's mother and I graduated from high school with his Aunt. We had a great session that was full of laughs. Their little boy, who is 6 months old, kept us in stitches!  Just take a peak at some of my favorites!!!

Those who know me know that I'm a huge fan of black and white pictures.  The love this picture in black and white with all the different textures it picks up especially with the grass in the background.  What a beautiful family!

I love seeing baby toes!  He was having fun playing with the grass.

After Mama and Daddy joined in behind him he kept turning around to make sure they were still there!

Isn't he the cutest Santa?  Love the big brown eyes!

Then he got bored with me taking his picture and decided the grass was more interesting!

I'm not sure which one Sara plans to use for their Christmas card but,  I'm sure this was one of their top choices!

I'm so glad I caught this.  (And surprised I didn't have camera shake)  I got so tickled at him when he looked down and saw his mama.  He thought it was hysterical that she was way down below him!

Sara and Justin I pray your family has a wonderful Christmas. Thank you for a fun session!

-Enjoy,

Sweet Moments!

On a lazy warm Sunday afternoon I met up with Christina and Erin for their Christmas card photo session.  We ventured from the country to the "big" city for this year's pictures.  I do believe she has saved the best ones for her Christmas card this year.  Sorry you'll have to wait to see those.  Hope you enjoy some of my favorites!

This picture is precious to me!

Erin is such a ham!

I love capturing children being themselves!

One would look at this picture and wonder what had captured her attention.  There was a car that had pulled up and trying to park.

Sweet Moments!

Fun moments!

These next two I just adore!

I pray Erin and Christina will have a very, very Merry Christmas!

A Great Escape!

During Thanksgiving holidays we took a road trip to Callaway Gardens to see the Fantasy in Lights.  This was our first trip to see the Fantasy in Lights and it was wonderful!  I highly recommend it, especially if you have little ones!

The trees were so beautiful!

My child LOVED Callaway.  In his own words " he was busy making discoveries!"  Here is one of his finds!

He HAD to have this bug magnifier.  We definately got our monies worth.

A child's mind is like a blank canvas at times.  I almost used this picture for our Christmas cards.  I love the look on his face here.

The butterflies were amazing!

Andrew took time away from his discoveries to take a picture with me!

Got to be like Daddy!

Here are a couple of pictures from the Fantasy in Lights.  First let me explain, we were riding on a trolley (bumpy ride) and I had a 5 year old going back in forth in my lap to see all the lights.  So, these are NOT the best quality pictures.

A kind gentleman and his wife celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary took this picture of us.

Lots more pictures of family Christmas sessions are on their way!
