Southern Sweetness!

I had so much fun on this shot.  These children were so sweet!!!  Please meet Lily and her big brother Silas! When I was editing the pictures the song "Jesus Loves Me" kept playing through my mind. Here's sweet little Lily....

I sent this one as a sneak peek to her mom this week.  She looks like she's praying!

Doesn't Silas have the prettiest blue eyes?

More super sweetness.  Silas had just kissed her so she repaid the favor!
Then Mama joined us.
Thank you for calling on me Amy!  I had a blast with your sweet ones!

Eyes That Melt Your Heart!

Doesn't she have the prettiest eyes?  Miss Jacklynn and I had fun one afternoon in her backyard taking pictures of her in her dance costumes.  She had just had her spring recital the night before.

I love this picture. It almost looks like a picture from a storybook to me.
This is a my favorite.
Thanks Jacklynn and mom, Andrea, for a fun time.
- Enjoy!

Family Love in Bloom

These are some of my favorite folks! Tricia and I went to elementary school together and her husband Robbie and I had classes together and were in the band in college.  I was so honored when she called for me to come out to her family place to take some spring pictures!

Her parents are so sweet.  I get to see her mom a good bit since one of my best friends is her niece.  Yes I LOVE small town living...everybody is kin and all our road have two names! (have you noticed that?)

I love this picture!  So sweet!!!!

This is why Daddy's capture little girl's hearts. Robbie is making sure she doesn't step on anything that could hurt her bare sweet feet.  I love this picture as he carries his princess to the perfect picture spot!

Tricia wanted pictures of her on this little bridge just like she had done years ago as a child.  Even though some of the flower petals had blown off the plants and trees, they made a wonderful ground blanket for a beautiful backdrop for these pictures.

Such a beautiful family!

This picture is to update her Facebook profile. :)
Such a beautiful picture of the lake and family fun!

She had just found an Easter egg left over from a couple weekends!  She was on her way to show her mom when I got this picture. She is such a beautiful and blessed child!
So I learned the secret to how Robbie stays in shape.  (disclaimer here...no one was injured except from sore sides from too much giggling!)
Toward the end of the session everyone had the giggles. (o.k. maybe Robbie and Tricia's dad weren't giggling but they were having a good time too!)

This is another favorite of mine.  I like the traditional family poses but, there is just something real about this kind of portrait.  This is life has it happens and will carry a lifetime of memories.
Thanks Tricia and everyone! I had a wonderful afternoon with you all and catching up. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family!

Stay tuned I have prom pictures and dance pictures coming up!
-Enjoy,
