Bubble Fun!!!

I love the summer time! We have had a blast lately with bubbles! Every afternoon my son wants to go outside and blow bubbles. There is just something about bubbles that makes one smile! As you can tell by the last picture he wore himself out that afternoon! Enjoy! (I need to give my husband credit for the first picture of Andrew and me! I thought he did a great job!)

Award Program and Graduation

I love this time of year. Encouragement for a child goes a long way. This year my child "graduated" from preschool and from Cubbies in Awana at church. Enjoy pictures from both programs. I was so impressed with all the children who had memorized verses and sayings and proudly said them to the crowd of parents of family. I applaud all the ladies who worked with my child over this past year. I think you are super and I love you all! I also included a special part of our high school's graduation today. Congratulations to all our special young people!

Baby Brant!

I was so excited to take these pictures. Not only is baby Brant's parents good friends of mine but, he is so adorable! We took these pictures at his grandparents' beautiful Southern home. I can't wait to watch him grow up!

Thank you Brant for a wonderful time at your grandparents! And a big thank you to his big brother Ramsey for my beautiful handmade paperclip necklace! You know the way to a girl's heart is jewelry!

Walk Around the Yard

I love spring time after the pollen is gone and the flowers bloom! My husband does a wonderful job in our yard keeping me supplied with flowers. I got a new camera lens in today and thought you would like to take a trip around our yard with me! You'll see pictures of my favorite hybrid day lilies, the beautiful society garlic (love purple and green together), and our hydrangeas from Chris' Grandfather's yard! It's a very southern yard! When my Tea Olive tree blooms, I'll take some pictures of it! Notice the small ant village I came up on! And the table of amaryllis, this is a funny story! Chris dug up a bed full of these amaryllis bulbs, we gave tons away and then replanted tons more in our yard in other bed. My husband ran out of time to plant the bulbs before track season started. (did you catch the pun?) Anyway so these bulbs just started blooming in no soil, laying on the iron old table! Isn't nature wonderful? Come back to see us! - Lydia
