Olivia's Day...

Last year I took Christmas pictures for the cutest family of five.  Olivia was a tiny thing a year ago. (Click here to see last year's blog)  Well, it's a year little and today was Olivia's day for her own photo session.  Big brothers Mason and Nathan were so sweet helping us keep Olivia interested and smiling!  These pictures are so precious, I can't wait for you to see them!  I had some many favorites but, I think I've narrowed it down!

I'm not sure what she's doing here but, thought it was a great action shot!

She's so precious!
 Too cute!

This is one of my favorite photos I've ever taken!
This one makes me laugh everytime!  This is her mama all over!!!

Thanks Aprile!  She did great and I hope ya'll enjoy the pictures for many years to come!

The Family Gathering

I as so excited when Susan, a co-worker of mine, asked me to take pictures of family.  Her grown children and grandchild live out of town and had returned home for Rosh Hashanah. We met at the family home and had a blast!  Here are some of my favorites!
This one is so sweet!  She'll always treasure this photo!
The grandparents wanted some picture time with "Izzy" and I love how serious she took it!  She's such a happy child!
She's such a beautiful child! Love her curls and her eyes!
This photo is was inspired the photo shoot. They yearly take a generational picture with Izzy.  Creating wonderful memories!
I enjoyed watching Izzy interact with her mama!  Lots of fun and laughter!
There's something about seeing a child in motion that makes time stand still.
This one is my favorite!  Such a power picture with lots of emotion and love!
And Susan with her husband.  He wanted a couple picture of the two to post for his 30 class reunion. Isn't that sweet?!!
I had a wonderful time with Susan and her family.  Lots of laughter and fun!
- Shalom and Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Jerrod!!

This is a special blog just for Jerrod who's birthday is September 15!  Our System Teacher of the Year received a photography package from me and she used it to do a birthday session gift for her husband. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our session!
First of all get ready these are some adorable children! Meet Sam and Abby. Sam was the shy one and it took it awhile to warm up to me.  You'll see by the end he was just fine!
Abby was such a natural with the camera.
O.K. normally one would expect to see the subjects facing and smiling toward the camera.  But, this is why I love photographing children.  This is who they are, having fun checking out everything about their new surrounding! I love this picture. Look at their faces!
Abby has beautiful blue eyes. Get ready Daddy she's going to break hearts!
After leaving our historic courthouse square with all the prisoners cutting grass (hence why we moved on) we found a tiny garden behind the Episcopal church.  Here Sam is making all kinds of new discoveries.  This is such a beautiful and peaceful place!  I want to take my son here. Which since this post is for Jerrod, my son heard your name several times last year! Your mom was his Kindergarten teacher and oh! how he loves her!
Look at these eyelashes!
And Jerrod's sweet wife and mom to Abby and Sam AND our System Teacher of the Year, Beth!
It was so hard to choose which pictures to post, there were so many more I could have chosen!  Hope you have a very Happy Birthday Jerrod!  From your little ones and Beth!

-Enjoy!

New Designs by "Girls of the South!"

Check out the new designs by "Girls of the South!"  Lari and Kim have been busy creating the cutest "t-shirts with a Southern flavor!"

We met at Gifted in Downtown Quitman for our photo shoot.  Here's a bucket of Trojan t-shirts!  Go Trojans!
Lots of awesome colors to choose!
Their sign and logo that Lari painted.
How awesome is this color blue?
And, my Alma Mater!  Go Blazers!
My favorite!
They call this color Safety Green..... yes I said "green." Cute design!
I wonder what "safety yellow" looks like?
O.K. Another favorite of mine!
And by popular demand ladies....the flip flop design is now available in brown!
O.K.  really this is my favorite!
I wear my t-shirt like this almost every Friday at work.  Love the V-neck, it also comes in a round neck if you like.
Thanks again Lari and Kim! I can't wait to see more of your designs! You both are awesome!
If you are interested in purchasing a "Girls of the South" t-shirt, go to Gifted in Quitman or visit their website at by clicking here. Girls of the South!

Family Fun

I was thrilled when asked to take pictures of grandchildren for the parents of one of my co-workers.  One of the grandsons was getting ready to leave home for college and so everyone got together at the country club to capture memories of the day!
   Cousins...
I love the colors they wore for the session.  So bright and colorful, it really looks good!

The next three are my favorites!
For a little it's hard to just sit and look pretty all the time!  To me this is what life is about, being yourself!  You can't put a price tag on these images to me.  I absolutely love them.

Each family wanted a couple shots with just them.
Another one I love.  Again, this is real life! What precious memories!  He was trying to kiss his sister who didn't want to be kissed!
Even though they are cousin, they feel more like sister and brother.  I know it's going to be hard for her as he is off away for college this year!
And to everyone's surprise she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the check!
You may remember this sweet little from a session I did over a year ago. Click here to see them! This time her mama wanted a picture of the two of them.
Since Austin was getting ready the following week to leave for college his mom wanted to get some pictures of the two of them.
Love this picture!
What a fun day for me!  This family kept me in stitches and I enjoyed every minute! Thanks for a great time!
-Enjoy,
