I was thrilled when asked to take pictures of grandchildren for the parents of one of my co-workers.  One of the grandsons was getting ready to leave home for college and so everyone got together at the country club to capture memories of the day!

I love the colors they wore for the session.  So bright and colorful, it really looks good!

The next three are my favorites!  

For a little it's hard to just sit and look pretty all the time!  To me this is what life is about, being yourself!  You can't put a price tag on these images to me.  I absolutely love them.  

Each family wanted a couple shots with just them.

Another one I love.  Again, this is real life! What precious memories!  He was trying to kiss his sister who didn't want to be kissed!

 Even though they are cousin, they feel more like sister and brother.  I know it's going to be hard for her as he is off away for college this year!

And to everyone's surprise she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the check!

 Since Austin was getting ready the following week to leave for college his mom wanted to get some pictures of the two of them.

Love this picture!

What a fun day for me!  This family kept me in stitches and I enjoyed every minute! Thanks for a great time!

When I Survey Part 2.....

In June I posted pictures of crosses I see in everyday objects.  Click here to see Part 1. I've had a lot of people share with me how much they liked that post and asked if I planned to do another one. Well, here it is.  As I stated earlier I got this idea from another photographer's blog and it really got me looking for crosses in my path.  I hope you enjoy this! Share your comments, I love to read them!

My son found this cross on the back of his basketball goal.  He said, "Mama look they're everywhere!"

As I was headed outside to find crosses in our backyard I passed by our piano and look!  Lots of them!

It's amazing how many reminders God lays before us of His gift of salvation.  I'm sure I'll be adding to this series.  It's fun seeking and searching.  Maybe this blog has prompted someone to seek and search for themselves!  How many reminders are in your path each day?

Welcome Payden....

I had the honor of photographing the beautiful wedding last year of Wendy and Ben's.  Click here to see their Gin Creek wedding pictures!  Since the wedding they have been blessed with sweet Payden.  Here are some of her three month old pictures with her proud parents!

This poor child, you can tell she never gets any attention. :)  I love seeing these two in their new role as parents!

Susan and Aaron- The Wedding

I posted pictures of Susan and Aaron's pre-wedding portrait session several week ago.  Well, here are the pictures from their beautiful southern wedding.  I will say it was hot, it was July.  But everyone looked beautiful and despite the warm temperatures everyone had a great time!  Here are some of my favorites! The wedding took place a Lakes Chapel in Lake Park.  Very quaint and beautiful place!

I had to get a picture of these frogs so years from now when Susan and Aaron are looking over their wedding pictures they can say, "Do you remember these little green frogs? They were everywhere the day of our wedding!"

 Susan looked radiant!

Look at the special charms on her bouquet!  Each bridesmaid's bouquet had an initial charm for the bridesmaid.

And Aaron and his groomsmen!

White hydrangeas graced the historic church pews.

As the bride and their daughter came down the aisle you could hear ooh's and aah's from the crowd.  Here's what they saw!

I just had to share these two photos. Remember me telling you it was hot?  This proves it... like mother like daughter!

This wedding was so much fun but, especially for the children. Here are the wedding favors for the children.
