Watching Paxton Grow....

I had the opportunity to photograph this handsome fellow months ago!  Click here to see old blog. Paxton is growing up and is now 9 months old and what a cutie!  I fell in love in his big brown eyes.
He's learning to stand with the help of props now.  Each stage in watching your child grow up is so much fun.  It's amazing and beautiful thing to be a part of.
One of the things I enjoy doing when taking pictures of children is watching them make discoveries and just be themselves.  Take a look at how Paxton reacted to sitting underneath a tall Georgia pine!
I sent this one to his mom for her sneak peek and titled it, "Paxton's got skills!"
And, now the family picture.  What a great looking family!
And our "Paxton sandwich kiss" pose!
I had fun little buddy!  I'll be celebrating your 1st birthday with you in October and capturing more memories for you to look back on when you are older!
- Enjoy!

Price Change starting September 1!

Ashley and Drew...

After this engagement photo shoot I told my husband how much fun I have getting to know my clients.  I've known these two all their lives but, since they are younger than me I only knew them in passing.  We had a lot of fun even though it was hot as blue blazes.  The two of them managed very well trying to smile with gnats swarming around them.  They are the sweetest couple and I had fun watching them interact this day. I can't wait for their September wedding.
I love the look on her face here!
This one is priceless to me!
You can tell how in love they are!
And, now some individual shots!
Beautiful blue eyes!
Hopefully by September things will have cooled down some!  Can't wait to see you guys again!
Stay posted I'm busy editing wedding pictures and baby pictures!
Lots to come!
-Enjoy!

Susan and Aaron Part 1

Here's a sneak peek at the bride and groom and their little one Emmeele! This family had a beautiful wedding ceremony this past weekend at Lakes Chapel.  We meet a couple of weeks before the wedding at their wedding venue, which was a blessing for me as the photographer!  Despite the hot temperatures we had a blast and were able to take a lot of the pictures we would have taken the morning of the wedding without the pressure of time.  I had never been to Lakes Chapel in Lake Park but, feel in love this place.  It's so peaceful and serene!  Here's a field of orange flowers the welcomes you as you arrive.
And the beautiful bride.  I loved Susan's dress, very classic!

I'm a shoe person so I had to get a shoot of her gorgeous shoes!
And, her handsome husband Aaron.
This was one of my favorite pictures of the day.  God brought the perfect breeze the show off her dress!

I love getting pictures of couples being real and having fun! See the mischievous look on his face?
 And here's sweet Emmeele!

Susan and Aaron selected this one for their 16x20 for the wedding reception and I'm so glad they did. It was another one of my favorites!
And so more sweet pictures of  Emmeele.  She is such a doll!
I'm working on the wedding pictures and will post those in a week or two!
-Enjoy!

Sweet Sounds of the Waves Crashing....

Our family made our once a year pilgrimage to the beach recently!  That is us, my mother-in-law, and my brother-in-law and his family and we had a blast!  Here are some pictures for us to remember.

Here's my sister-in-law's beach chair.  Oh how I miss having my toes in the water!
Our room is on the 6th floor and here's our view street-side.  I was fascinated by the different colored home.
No editing here, it was that blue!
There's something about this picture in black and white that just moves me.  I'm considering having this developed into a large gallery wrap print for my home office.
We also made our annual trip to the Pirate's Adventure Putt Putt Golf. I had to take this picture for our friend Bill.
I watched my five year old suddenly become "Mr. Independent" at the beach.  Here he is doing his best "Happy Gilmore" impersonation.  My husband won the game but, I had TWO holes in one! Yes, I did the happy dance.
After taking Christmas pictures with the Nana we had a little photo session with my nieces and son. Here's my beautiful niece Georgia.  Can't believe she's going to middle school!
And, Zoey!  I was amazed how her blue eyes just popped against the dark green of the pool deck chairs.
And, my fellow! I love the expression on his face here.  So sweet.
Bye, Bye beach for now. We'll see you again same time, same place next year!

Girls of the South

Being raised in the south you mind your manners and you know how to glisten instead of sweating in the dog days of summer. Two of  my friends Lari and Kim have started their own t-shirt business for just us Southern girls! These are the cutest t-shirts and you must check out their website at  Girls of the South.
Lari is a super talented artist and did all the artwork for the tees.
Kim's daughter, Savanna, was our t-shirt model for the shoot.  Isn't she beautiful?
Us Southern Girls love our flip flops!

After seeing this color on Savanna I had to buy one after our shoot.  And, yes I proudly wore it out to dinner that night!
These are t-shirts with a Southern flavor!
The girls are also doing school t-shirts.  This one is for Lowndes County.  Don't worry Brooks, and Valdosta tees will be ready for Friday night football!
Super cool graphics!
The tees come in various colors.

And here are the fabulous girls of "Girls of the South", Lari and Kim.
Thanks guys for asking me to take the pictures for your website.  I wish ya'll the best of luck with your new business venture and look for great things to come! Phil. 4:6  I have received lots of compliments on my t-shirt. If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt you can go on the website and order from there.
-Enjoy!
